Sun or Cold Damaged Skin Routine Due to Extreme Harsh Weather

Extreme weather skin damage can be the result of sun and wind exposure from the beach, skiing, or dry weather conditions.  If your skin is very red and irritated; perhaps chapped from the wind or about to peel from sun damage, these are the products I recommend for these situations.

Before we begin, I want to give you the all so famous warnings and disclaimer:

  • Before you put any Temptress Skincare product on your face or body, please look at the ingredient list on the website. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. If you are, do not use or discontinue use.

  • If you are not sure if you are allergic to any of ingredients, put a small amount under your ear and at a minimum watch for itchiness or redness. If you see or feel these symptoms, discontinue use.

  • Results may vary from person to person.

  • These products have not been tested or approved by the FDA.

  • These products are not cures or medications to treat any ailments.

Morning Routine

Good morning beautiful! I start my morning with a shower. I do not wash my face with any product.  I simply rinse my face with clear cool water.

  • Eyes - Energizing Eye Spa Cream - I apply to the entire eye area (under the eyes, crows feet area, and over the eye lid).  It absorbs quickly and cause no lumpiness with my eye shadow and eye liner.

  • Oil - Moisture-Lock Hydrating Oil- It is essential for all skin types, especially those with dry skin, to sooth and moisturize. This oil helps maintain a healthy barrier against the environment.  It also helps balance oil production in oily skin.  I use it every day when I am snow skiing or in really low humidity environments.

  • Daily Defense Anti-Aging Day Cream with SPF 30This is essential. This cream provides full spectrum UVA and UVB protection with vitamins, peptides and anti-oxidants. Antioxidants protect your skin from the environment. This moisturizing cream is fragrance free and light enough for oily skin. I NEVER walk out the door without wearing Sun protection.

I finish off my morning routine with a mineral translucent powder over my face for shine control. That's it!  You may apply foundation over these products until you feel conformable without it. For best results, give yourself some time with your new routine.

Evening Routine

After a day at the office and going to the gym, I am ready to take a shower and take it all off!  Just to let you know, I do not clean my face before exercising. I do remove some of the eye makeup. Cleaning your face before exercising, leaves the pores wide open and exposed to bacteria.

  • Gentle Facial Cleanser-  I wash my face in the shower with this gentle cleanser. It cleans my skin and removes eye makeup without stinging or irritating my eyes. If I feel the need to exfoliate, I pour a quarter size of cleanser on your palm and then mix a pinch of granulated sugar with the cleanser. This is an excellent scrub for face and body. NEVER substitute with Salt. The crystals in salt can damage your skin.

  • Eyes - Energizing Eye Spa Cream - I apply to the entire eye area day and night (under the eyes, crows feet, and over the eyelid). NEVER in the eye or eye lashes.

In the evening, I recommend using the strongest repair combination for serious damage:

  •   Rejuvenation Elixir -   This is an instantly tightening firming serum full of antioxidants. This refreshing elixir can be used alone to sooth the skin.

  • Tempest Repair Cream - is a cream for anyone who wants to prevent and repair damage caused by the sun, wind, and cold. It has an anti-inflammatory ingredients. It is my savior when I have been out having too much fun in the elements. I especially like to use it every night when I am at the beach. I know I won't peel or blister!
